28/01/2010
BMW continually develops and enhances its model range to ensure that you drive even better, cleaner and more dynamic cars. BMW has introduced a new Z4 M Sport specification featuring a number of styling modifications and a sportier suspension set-up. Visual cues include Sport seats, M leather steering wheel, M aerodynamic bodystyling, Aluminium carbon interior trim, Anthracite headlining and M Door sill finishers, while ride height is lowered by 10mm. The BMW Z4 M Sport is available from £33,605 OTR.
BMW 1 Series Coupé and Convertible models are now available with a powerful new turbocharged 3.0-litre engine. The new 135i Coupé and Convertible are the first 1 Series models to offer optional seven-speed Double Clutch Transmission (DCT) for fast, seamless gear changes, improved performance and increased fuel efficiency. The 135i Coupé reaches 62mph in 5.2 seconds, delivers 33.2 mpg and 195g/km of CO2 emissions. OTR prices start at £30,465 for the 135i Coupé and £33,460 for the Convertible. Smaller-engine Coupé and Convertible models, meanwhile, benefit from a dynamic character of their own thanks to Sport specification, available at no additional cost over the corresponding ES model. Sport models offer 17" light alloy wheels, sport seats, front foglights and sport leather steering wheel with multi-function controls as standard - a specification upgrade worth over £1,000.The new BMW 320d EfficientDynamics Saloon will launch on 20 March, prices start from £26,480 OTR. The 320d ED is the world's first premium compact executive saloon to achieve under 110g/km of CO2 (alongside 68.9mpg) yet accelerates from 0-62mph in 8.0 seconds, considerably faster than rival offerings.Alongside now-familiar EfficientDynamics technologies such as Auto Start-Stop, the complete package increases fuel efficiency and lowers emissions without affecting performance.
